Weekends win.
Because Family Movie Night.
Each week, we decide which movie we’re going to watch on Saturday or Sunday night, and then very seriously discuss what kind of pizza we’ll eat picnic-style in the family room, comfortably ensconced in mountains of throw pillows and blankets and oversized bean bags. (Spinach-and-mushroom deep dish is better for longer drama and adventure flicks, while half sausage-and-pineapple/half cheese thin crust lends itself well to knee-slapping comedy. Just in case you were wondering.)
And now that the days are getting shorter and our schedules are getting busier with the kids in the thick of back-to-schoolness, Netflix is encouraging families to unwind on other nights of the week too. After all, spending time together as a family shouldn’t be limited to just one night of the week.
Here’s 12 titles we’ve been watching:
Pictured: My Little Pony: Equestria Girls, Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs 2, The Pirate Fairy, Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Free Birds, Valiant, Hoodwinked, Muppets Most Wanted, Gnomeo & Juliet, The Breakfast Club, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.

Many of those are on the frequently watched list at our house, too! Although, we haven’t gotten into the Star Wars shows with the girls, but Mr. Serious likes the Clone Wars.
Clone Wars wins at life!
Oh are we Netflix junkies. With four kids in our house, someone’s always streaming something from Netflix. Awesome service.
We’re completely addicted and regret nothing.
Never watched Clone wars. I’d like to, though. I like Star Wars Rebels.
