Disney is making it so with Tomorrowland, a mystery-turned-adventure starring the Academy Award-winning actor as a former boy-genius named Frank.

Jaded by disillusionment, he and Casey (Britt Robertson, Delivery Man), an optimistic teen teeming with scientific curiosity, embark on a dangerous thrill ride of a mission to unearth the secrets of an enigmatic place somewhere in time and space known only as “Tomorrowland.”

Because Time Lords.

Maybe.

But it’s what the two must do there that will change the world – and them – forever.

“What Hogwarts is to magic, Tomorrowland is to science: They are both easy to find if you are a wizard and very difficult to find if you’re a Muggle,” producer and screenwriter Damon Lindelof says. “Walt Disney is not a character in our movie, but he is referenced as having some involvement in this mysterious place called Tomorrowland, as a huge futurist and aficionado of space travel, rocketry, cities of the future, and space travel.”

The sci-fi feature film has been shrouded in mystery since mutterings about it first started making the internet rounds, and footage hasn’t even been seen by the public – not until Thursday at New York Comic Con anyway. A newly married Clooney showed up announced for a Tomorrowland panel, bringing with him an action-packed clip (unavailable on YouTube) that’s reportedly packed with insane weaponry and interplanetary awesome.

And now there’s this teaser, which really just make us want to bend time and space so the movie can get here faster.
