We’ve said it before, and we’ll giddily say it again: CUMBERWEDDING! CUMBERBABIES! CUMBERHAPPINESS!

Benedict Cumberbatch and his lovely fiancée Sophie Hunter are expecting their first child together, news his rep confirmed to US Weekly.

“I am delighted to confirm that Benedict Cumberbatch and Sophie Hunter are expecting their first child,” the rep said in a statement. “They are both over the moon.”

We aren’t too surprised, considering Cumberbatch gave an interview to People late last year in which he stayed mum on the subject of starting a family, saying: “I’ve got to be very coy on that one. Very silent.” That of course, confirmed all the glorious baby things because the British don’t play coy very well.
