The little blue box of Tiffany & Co. acclaim might not be the usual blue box we get excited about here at DGOE (because TARDIS), but considering the iconic 178-year-old jeweler just made history with its first-ever ad featuring a same-sex couple, we think the Doctor would understand.

The gorgeous image captures a real-life, non-model (really?!) couple sitting on the steps of their New York City brownstone is part of Tiffany’s upcoming “Will You” engagement campaign, which according to a statement from the company, “honors the idea that love knows no boundaries.”

We love it, and are ever hopeful high-end, high-profile campaigns like this one will continue to pave the way toward acceptance. Humans are humans, love is love, and there’s no reason boys shouldn’t dream about marrying the man of their dreams.
